How to Increase Knowledge&Appreciation about Plants
Sit under a tree when it's hot, and thank it quietly.
Believe what you learned from 3rd grade-Photosynthesis! IT"S TRUE, and realize it's value.
Recognize them around you
Realize that most of the stuff you use has some type of plant base/material in it.
Grow them! At least one.
Feed and nurture them.
Eat them! Yes, I believe that some of them evolved to be eaten.
Read books about native plants(..search Dr. John Cullineys')
Visit a botanical gardens. There's 3 in town.
Grow a whole garden!
Read "Botany of Desire" by Polan to start-
Give plants as a gift.
